MADE FOR YOUR TEACHING DAY
Co-teacher: classroom ideas and lesson planning help
A teaching conversation that starts with the learners in front of you.
Be specific about your class
Tell your Co-teacher the class, topic, time and materials you have. For example: “Help me teach Basic 5 learners equivalent fractions using folded paper in 35 minutes.” Specific context makes it easier to review and adapt the answer.
Ask a useful follow-up
Try “How can I check understanding in five minutes?”, “What misconception should I listen for?” or “Adapt this for learners who need more support.” Keep learner names and personal information out of your prompts.
Try it in practice
Explore a paper-folding fractions activity and adapt it to the target in your own curriculum.
