Terms of use for Teacher’s Friend

Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or signing in to Teacher’s Friend you agree to these terms, the teacher community rules and the privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Teacher’s Friend is for teachers and education staff aged 18 or over.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell support@teachersfriend.app straight away if you think someone else has used it.
Teaching drafts
Lesson plans, exams, schemes and other documents prepared by Teacher’s Friend are drafts. Check them for accuracy and suitability for your learners before you use them. You keep ownership of what you write and save. You allow XQRA to store and process it only to provide the service to you.
Official resources
Curricula, textbooks and teacher guides in the teaching library belong to their publishers. They are provided for teaching reference. Follow the publisher’s terms if you copy or share them.
Coins and purchases
Coins are a prepaid balance used to prepare documents in the app. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play follow that store’s terms and refund process. We tell you the coin cost before anything is charged.
Teacher community
When you post or reply you must follow the community rules. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members. Posts appear straight away. Use Report on a post that breaks the rules and Block member to stop seeing someone. XQRA reviews reports within 24 hours, removes content that breaks the rules and may suspend or close the account that posted it.
Acceptable use
Do not use Teacher’s Friend for anything unlawful, to harm others, to break or test its security, or to collect information about other members. Add learner information only when you are authorised to use it for teaching.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account in the app, or by following the account deletion steps. Deletion removes your account and its saved records as described in the privacy notice.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Teacher’s Friend available and accurate, but the service is provided as it is, to the extent the law allows. We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and we will tell you in the app about important changes.
